On a High...

So my most recent purchase came in the form of a High Elf army from eBay arrived in the post this morning. Pretty stoked that I got 40x spearmen, 40x Archers, 20x White Lions, 2 Bolt Throwers and 2x Chariots in the set. Originally, the set included 20x Phoenix Guard, but you could substitute them for either 20x Swordmasters or 20x White Lions. I already have 20x Phoenix Guard and I've got enough Swordmasters and for the ridiculous price of $68 for 10 White Lions, I asked that the Phoenix Guard get subbed for White Lions.

I open the package and to my dismay, I don't see White Lions. I see Phoenix Guard.

Ughh.

So I emailed the seller and asked what the process is for an exchange.

I will have to wait until tomorrow morning for a response, but as I was going through the rest of the package when a thought occurred to me. What if I ran a unit of 40x Phoenix Guard? It would definitely be the ultimate bunker/points denial unit in the High Elf army. 4+ Ward save FTW. So now I'm thinking of a list that would include 40x Spearmen, 40x Phoenix Guard with Banner of Sorcery, 2 units of 10 Swordmasters and a couple of units of Archers as the backbone of the infantry...
